Magnomatics is a high technology spin-out company from the largest electrical machines research group in the UK

Magnomatics was established in 2006 as a spin-out from the University of Sheffield to commercialise ground-breaking research on magnetic transmission systems, high-torque electrical machines and electromechanical actuators and dampers being undertaken by Dr Kais Atallah and Professor David Howe in the Electrical Machines and Drives laboratories at the University.

The company maintains strong links with the University with access to technical expertise and the University’s state-of-the-art research facilities. Members of Dr Atallah’s original research group now form the core of Magnomatics technical team.
