David graduated in 1994 with a 1st class honours degree in mechanical engineering, and became a Chartered Mechanical Engineer in 1999. He has worked in the Automotive industry for 13 years in series production/new product introduction as well as research and development. David worked for several years as the Director of Advanced Engineering for Dana Corporation and Pierburg GmbH in the area of electro-hydraulic pumps and has led the launch of innovative new products with these companies for major global vehicle manufacturers. David is also a named inventor on several patents concerning automotive motorised pumps for lubrication hydraulic actuation and cooling.
Gboyega is an established Project Manager with 17 years’ experience in the automotive industry. He joined Magnomatics from Eminox Ltd where he worked extensively in the design, development and production of automotive exhaust and emission control systems. Previous automotive experience includes working at Magna Kansei Ltd and Meritor Suspension Systems Co Ltd. He has also worked as a lecturer on CAD and CAE at the University of Wolverhampton and early on in his career held an industrial placement in Brazil, followed by a position as an electromechanical Senior Field Engineer in Nigeria, Morocco and Tunisia. A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Gboyega has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Design of Production Machines and Systems.
Andy joined Magnomatics from Orchid Orthopedic Solutions and brings a wealth of Project Management experience from many years working in the Engineering industry. Prior to commencing with the company, he worked for 13 years in the Medical Implant manufacturing sector as a Programme and Project Manager with Doncasters Medical Technologies then Sandvik Medical Solutions; responsible for complex End-to-End projects. Prior to this he was a Project Manager and Senior NPI Engineer with Triplex Lloyd then Doncasters plc; responsible for the development of precision cast Aero Engine and Turbocharger products and before this, starting as an Aerospace and Industrial Radiologist.
