It is the policy of Magnomatics Limited to minimise potentially negative impacts of its products, operations and services on the environment. The company commits to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness at all levels of decision making and considers its potential impact on climate change in its operations. Magnomatics is ISO 14001:2015 certified.

In defining the programme of improved environmental performance and pollution prevention and reduction, Magnomatics affirms that it:

Complies with the letter and spirit of all applicable environmental legislation and in accordance with the principles of ISO14001:2015.
Utilises a purchasing programme that considers the environmental impact of products and services in areas of key concern, and that utilises local suppliers by preference as much as practicably possible to minimise the carbon footprint of transportation of incoming parts.
Maintains robust waste management strategies that promote waste minimisation, re-use, recovery, and recycling where appropriate. Where these options are not available the company ensures its waste is disposed of in a way that minimises its impact on the environment.
Regularly monitors waste statistics and emissions.
Incorporates energy efficiency measures into its products and premises and promotes efficient energy use in all areas of business activity.
Manages its travel in line with efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
Ensures that the company’s personnel are aware of the environmental impacts of their work activities and encourages them through awareness and training to minimise those impacts.
Pursues a programme of continuous improvement of its policies and practices.
Sets and monitors measurable objectives against its environmental activities
Supports the continuous improvement of its energy usage and environmental aspects of the premises and operations
Ensures that the policy is available to all employees and all interested parties.
Ensures that the policy is available for public review upon request.

This policy will be reviewed on a regular basis to evaluate continued relevance and to monitor compliance.
